A First! $2,000.00 of Scholarship Awards to NHSHS Students
Each year we award the Ellen Anthonisen Scholarship Award to a student from the graduating class at New Hope-Solebury High School. Our committee, in collaboration with school staff, solicits applications and then using our own standards in 7 different areas selects the most deserving student.
All of our funding is self generated: we receive no school or tax dollars.
Because we had a successful year and because the students were so deserving we decided to award the full $1,000 amount to each of the two finalists instead of splitting it.
